328 Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC) Metastasis to the Coracoid Process

Abstract A 51-year-old man was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma (RCC) of the left kidney seven years ago. The tumour staged as T2N0M0 and patient underwent an uncomplicated open radical nephrectomy. RCC classified clear he kept on biannual surveillance thereafter. Six after nephrectomy, had reported a 5-month history worsening pain globally restricted movement in their right shoulder. palpable mass coracoid process noted. MRI imaging shown 27x30x17mm lesion suggestive expansile osseous process. An ultrasound guided biopsy performed for definitive characterisation. Histology reaffirmed that fact metastatic keeping patient’s primary. CT chest/abdomen/pelvis NM-Bone SPECT scanning no other sites metastasis. marginal resection good macroscopic clearance. common within skeleton implicated include spine, pelvis femur. Tumours are exceedingly rare. From literature, only four cases metastasis to have been noted: two from breast carcinoma, one hepatocellular basal carcinoma. Thus, this case denotes extraordinary presentation many Furthermore, it emphasises criticalness regular follow-up early intervention delays could lead systemic poorer prognosis.
